THE COLLIDE

The Collide are an energetic, young, up-and-coming alternative rock band from Derbyshire, who met at school. The combined influences of vocalist Annabelle Parkin, guitarist Riley Marsh, bassist Alfie Reeves and drummer Art Marshall creates a raw, bold and unique style of rock music combining elements of indie, rock and funk. They have been heavily featured by BBC Introducing, having recorded a live session for BBC Introducing East Midlands. Over the last year The Collide have gained popularity playing live at pubs, gigs and festivals, and took the 2023 festival season by storm, playing at both the Isle of Wight Festival and to around 2000 people at YNOT? Festival.

'Lucky' new single out now!
We were inspired to write 'lucky' when we realised our live set was getting a bit heavy and we wanted to write something a bit more upbeat. Annabelle got the idea for the lyrics when looking out into the crowd at a show and seeing her best friends in the front row. They've been stood in the front row of our shows, singing and dancing from the very beginning and even bought tickets to YNOT Festival when they found out we were playing, to make sure they would be in the front row then.
The message of Lucky is a simple one. Be grateful for the people who love you!
